The brief for this project was to replace a lean-to shed on the side of the house with a boot room and utility/ironing space. By hiding behind a blank garden wall to the street elevation, this allowed us the opportunity to create a small architectural gem that responded to the Client’s real dream of building a turret or a secret passage rather than a hum-drum utility space.
